How can so much life force and so much beauty exist in a single creature. I revere this animal and in return the elk sustains my family. This necklace is a little love letter to the West, to the mountains we take our food from and to this specific critter.
This guy is tiny and began as scrap silver in my studio, melted down, milled out, hand pierced and then carved into shape. He hangs from two points on a delicate sterling cable chain.
Length: About 18 inches with my s-clasp closure.
