With Manthan, I explore the concept of churning as a means of extracting the treasures of life, through material explorations in copper. The ring draws from a transitional terrain between above and below, as well as a coiled serpent as an imagined excerpt from the mythical churning of the ocean of milk, rendered in matte silver and a freshwater pearl.
