This collection of apple blossom designs is inspired by my farm on the Snake River of Idaho and the way it bursts to life in the spring. We have an orchard here that we lovingly tend to and in it are a few ancient apple trees with wizened trunks and heavy branches. While I love all the trees in my orchard, the apple trees flower out with such humility and grace each spring, I've taken a shine to them. The apple blossom is humble, delicate, beautiful (in a girl-next-door sort of way), capable of withstanding gale force winds and sweet enough to summon the bees.

Blossoms and some wonderful pearls I recently found -- Akoyas with really wonderful, shivery, textured skin. There's some tenderness here and some genuine sweetness, given freely.
