These are my closest fitting hoop design to date but they are not delicate or small in spirit. This design began as five pieces of wire in different gauges, connected with solder and fire and then formed into a tight open hoop that hugs the lobe. The effect is chunky, richly weighted, timeless and elegant. Inspiration was taken from corduroy and the old striped fabrics women used to dress themselves in back in the old days when we were frowned at for wearing dungarees.
One part textile appreciation and two parts bull in a china shop. Wear them proudly as I am proud to have made them just for you.
